Wrinkle Cream Enemies

January 28, 2009

Delay premature aging, lessen the lines on your face, smoothen your skin and make it look healthier, all this with the help of wrinkle creams. Before you go out and start your day, it’s always there to protect you from the pollutants throughout the day. You always remember to put it on before you go to sleep for the right hydration. However, does this assure you of better skin, when you wake up three months later? Not. Not if you still have the following bad skin habits with you.

Alcohol makes the skin puffy, and it makes the person go crazy. Puffy skin and crazy attitude is double the ugly. No matter how many layers of wrinkle creams are placed on your skin, it will never match the negative effects alcohol brings.

No Sweat. More than just being an expression, it’s also a bad habit to have if you intend to have healthy wrinkle free skin. Exercise and allow the sweat to build up. It refreshes your skin and gives you that beautiful glow.

Smoking can give you all kinds of diseases. It can even give you all the wrong sorts of smell, but it also significantly adds up ages to your skin. It lessens the oxygen in your bloodstream, thus, not allowing your skin to use up all the oxygen it requires. Aside from this, smoke also discolors your skin turning it into an unhealthy yellow.

Carbonated Drinks actually does not quench your thirst, as is popularly advertised. This is why, when you drink one, you drink a lot. It does not hydrate your body and even adds up to your weight. Definitely not the way you want to continue with both your skin and weight diet.

Follow these simple do-not’s and you’re sure to get the full benefits of anti wrinkle creams. Remember that it does not take the most expensive anti aging skin care product alone to give you the best skin you possibly can get. You also need a little help, and the right knowledge.

How to find the right foundation

October 8, 2008

Hiding the blemishes - Look for an oil-free fluid that won’t clog pores but helps conceal red-ness-even better if it has skin conditioners to prevent it from appearing too thick or dry.

Minimize fine lines - Look for a lightweight base that helps minimize wrinkle-prone spots, like the corners of your eyes and mouth.

Combat dryness - Look for a water-based foundation to help replenish lost moisture and leave you glowy (but not greasy) all day.

Even out everything  - Look for a fluid base with natural light-reflecting particles to mask sunspots, sallowness, and under-eye circles. It’ll leave your skin with a luminous finish.
